Catch up with family and friends over a Sunday Roast at O’Connell’s. Each week, we’ll be rotating through shared-style meats including roast lamb saddle, rare roast sirloin of beef and chorizo porchetta, with alternating sides and condiments for you to choose from.

Our weekly rotation includes:
Roast lamb saddle stuffed with spinach, black garlic & lemon served with shoulder navarin, potato “boulangère” with lamb sauce.
Pair this with a glass of Cabernet from Wild Duck Creek. It’s the perfect fit to cut through the fat of the lamb.
Rare roast sirloin of beef served with roasted bone marrow, duck fat Hasselback’s, green beans & horseradish and Yorkshire pudding.
The perfect match here is Torbreck’s Woodcutter’s Shiraz. The peppery notes of South Australian Shiraz complement the beef perfectly.
Chorizo porchetta served with braised white beans, cotechino & root vegetables
The chorizo works perfectly with the racy acidity of a Riesling. Some of Australia’s most prized Rieslings hail from the Clare Valley, so we suggest Grosset’s Polish Hill – an Australian icon.
