Greg Malouf is back at O’Connell’s

For three days in September, Greg will be taking over the reins at O’Connell’s to create a series of extraordinary 10-course banquets celebrating our twenty-year relationship.

Widely considered to be ‘the godfather’ of modern Middle Eastern food, we are proud that O’Connell’s is where the Michelin-starred chef forged his reputation in the late 1990s.

Greg was the first chef to seduce the Australian dining public with his unique and contemporary take on Middle Eastern cuisine. Ten years ago he relocated to Dubai, from where he continues to inspire chefs and diners around the world with his groundbreaking menus and multi-awarded cook books.

We’re delighted to welcome you to O’Connell’s for a rare opportunity to experience Greg’s food again here in Melbourne. Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th September will be nights to remember, with oysters and ma’hanni sausages, Lebanese style prime beef fillet tartare, eggplant delight whipped with gouda and, Hibiscus Pavlova as well as other old favourites and new delights.

The banquets are wine-matched and include the original O’Connell’s za’atar bread sticks with tarragon labne as well as Turkish coffee and petits fours to finish.
