Tuesday 13th May, 12pm | $99pp
Join us at O’Connell’s for a rare masterclass with Peter Fraser, Head Winemaker at Yangarra Estate—one of McLaren Vale’s most progressive and acclaimed producers.
This is more than just a wine tasting. It’s a celebration of seasonal Victorian produce, thoughtfully paired with six unforgettable Yangarra wines across three delicious courses created by O’Connell’s Head Chef, Aaron Brodie.
The lunch will begin with a guided tasting and conversation with Peter Fraser, before transitioning into a relaxed sit-down experience where each course is designed to bring the wines—and the season—to life.
Menu highlights include smoked emu pastrami, a rich veal cheek and a brie course served with walnuts and poached pear.
What’s included:
A guided tasting of three premium single-vineyard Yangarra wines
A three-course seasonal menu inspired by the wines and the estate’s biodynamic ethos
Matched wines to accompany each course
Yangarra is based in the elevated north of McLaren Vale, where their certified biodynamic vineyards are dedicated to Rhône varietals. With a philosophy grounded in minimal intervention and respect for the land, Yangarra has built a reputation for expressive, layered wines that speak of place.
