Terms and Conditions
The booking will be secured once the organiser has signed the booking form and accepted all of O’Connell’s terms and conditions and paid the deposit requested. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill at the conclusion of the function. Any tentative bookings will be held for a strict period of 5 working days, should the deposit not be received within 5 days the booking date will be released automatically.
We would be disappointed if the function were to be cancelled, however we realise that circumstances occasionally make this necessary.
All cancellations must be made in writing to the functions manager at O’Connell’s hotel.

- Confirmation of final numbers of guests attending and all final details should be notified to the functions manager no less than 48 hours (2 days) prior to the event.
For any cancellations made 48 hour prior to the event the client will be charged in full for each guest not in attendance, any significant decline in numbers will see the event moved to the most appropriate space for the number of guests.
The balance of the account must be settled on the day of the function either by cash or major credit card. No personal cheque will be accepted. No split bills for functions or groups of 12 or more.

All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices, menu and wine list are subject to change without notice.
Although accidents can happen, damage to any part of our premises can be avoided by good communication between the organiser and our staff when arranging furniture and displays.
No nails screws or adhesives are to be used; repairs and replacement charges will be passed onto the client.
All O’Connell’s staff are trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
We reserved the right to refuse service to any person deemed to be intoxicated and to change the drinks package pricing, quantities and selections without prior notice.
Our organisation will take reasonable care, but will not accept responsibility for damage to or loss of items before, during or after a function. You are financially responsible for any loss or damage sustained to the premises or our property during a function or by your guests when entering or leaving the premises. You are also responsible too for any loss or damage to equipment hired by us for you.
